Bresnan Communicaitons is a well known cable opeator
Brighthouse is the seventh largest U.S. cable operator. With the downfall of Adelphia, it may now be the sixth largest cable operator.
CableOne, owned by Post Newsweek, is the tenth largest U.S. cable operator with about 700,000 subscribers (as of 9/2005).
Cablevision is the sixth largest cable operator in the U.S., and it owns the Madison Square Gardens in NYC.
Charter is the fourth largest cable operator in the U.S. As of 9/2005 it had nearly 6.0 million subscribers. Its largest shareholder is Paul Allen (of Microsoft fame).
