Hi, First timer here!
I have a 55 inch HDTV model Philips, Vendor Part #55PW9363.
I want to connect 4 things into it..
PS2
Philips DVD Player
Comcast DVR HD Cable Box
VCR
I have had the TV for many years and have tried many different ways to do this, but I have not found a way that I love.
I have my Playstation 2 connected by Monster Cables on the channel in
between AV 1 and AV 2 (CVI)
I have a Comcast model DCT6400 HD box with DVR, I have connected it through AV 3 through S-Cable and Red White sound cables....I have recently switched it to AV 4 and plugged it in by YPbPr and Red White sound cables
I also have a Philips DVD player that is connected through AV 2 with an S-Video
VCR is plugged into the back of the Tv and works with channel 3 on the TV
I want to be able to connect the DVR HD Cable box into a channel that would look the best either through S-Video or YPbPr (which is better?), with PIP through either the VCR or directly from the wall, I also would want to connect the DVD Player through S-Video.....
Any help would be great, a diagram would help as well if possible....I know a lot about these things, but I need a second opinion on what is the best way to connect all of them...DVD Player is a HD player, just a regular DVD Player that came with the TV...
AV 1 : YPbPr, S-Video, CVBS in, Audio L/R in, 480i 60Hz
AV 2 : S-Video, CVBS, Audio L/R in, 480i 60Hz
AV 3 : Side, S-Video Y/C, CVBS in, Audio L/R In, 480i 60Hz, Headphones out
AV 4 : YPbPr, RGB+H/V, Audio L/R in, 1080i 60Hz, 480p 60Hz
AV 5 : DVI with HDCP, Audio L/R in
Output rear : CVBS monitor out, Audio L/R out
Thanks in advance for your help..
