vip 211 hdtv antenna

TRYING TO get hdtv anteena to recognize reciever.do i need to diplex at reciever hookup and if so how.antenna works great with my other tuner hooked to it.is there a step by step for this.hooked antenna straight into dish reciever and out to tv but nothing.:eek:this is not a vip 211 hdtv antenna its a vip 211 dish reciever and antenna.sorry for the way it looked..

I guess where im having my problem is splitting this from reciever.I think i need to split it from the hdtv ant coming in sending 1 to ant in on dish and then ant out on dish can go to tv.or maybe from out to amplifier and then to tv.can i use a regular uhf/vhf splitter or do i need diplexer.
