I am a newby with the forum and am impressed with the questions and quick anwsers. Unfortunatly my equipment is not the most expensive but should work.
My problem is: I have charter cable with an Scientific-Atlanta explorer 3000 box, a RCA TV crt (entertainment series), a Filo DVDr-05 (Walmart) and an Emerson (EWV404) VCR. Also I have another Emerson TV B/W I use with a couple of security cameras, that I run through a A/V switch (that has 4 inputs a RCA out and a cable connection.
Any why I can get all this stuff to work together. The B/W tv is just for viewing the security cameras, but I would like to be able to record from the security and also play VCRs or to Play VCRs to the DVDR for recording.
If this makes any sense and I haven't been thrown off of the forum yet and that your hair is not anymore gray or falling out from this, I would appreciate what ever you can do to help me with this situation. Or any parts of it LOL

Thanks
ricardot

:Welcome2CableTV:

Here is a couple of things you can scan through for help:
http://cabletv.com/hook-up-guides/3719-scientific-atlanta-cisco-set-top.html
http://www.cabletv.com/hookupguides.htm

One is a guide straight from Scientific Atlanta and the other is a cross reference guide, either should point in the right direction.
