can you please help me hook up my recorder?

Hi! I hope you can help me hook up my system.
I have a bell expressvu (canada satellite system) 9200 hd pvr receiver;
samsung hd tv model tx-s3065wr .
I've just added a samsung dvd-vcr recorder model dvd-vr330 to my collection of toys. I can view dvd and vcr and record between them but I can't make it record TV shows.
How do I make the dvd-vcr recorder record from the television?
I want to add that I did go through your hook up guides but I can't find one that relates to me. Perhaps you could guide me to the right one.
