HDTV Converter box, Philips HDTV & Pioneer DVR

I am trying to hook up the following, with no luck:


1. HDTV converter box from Time Warner (Syracuse, New York)

2. Pioneer DVD Recorder - Model #DVR-640H-S

3. Philips Plasma TV/Integrated HDTV - Model #42PF9631D/37


The manuals for the DVR and the HDTV are attached.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

What I did with our Cable/converter box, HDTV and TiVo(DVR) is the following (you just need a converter box with 2 outputs):
Cable IN to converter box - 1 output from box to input TV AND 2nd output from box to input DVR. Output from DVR to 2nd input on TV.
