Digital Cable

I have a TV with a digital tuner and can get some local HD channels with basic cable (comcast). My question is if I upgrade to digital cable will my tv tune all digital channels with out a box (excluding on demand of course)?

Only one of two ways, 1. if the digital is not encrypted. or 2. if the TV has cable card access. If you have CCA, then you maybe able to lease one from the company.
