OK I'm not new to all of this but I am a little befuddled on this. I have 9 TV's in my house running through a distribution amplifier and system and all work well except one. It has always had a little ghosting and graininess on it, but never really bothered me as it was on the kitchen counter top and wasn't a big deal. Well replaced the old 13" tube TV there this weekend with a 15" LCD, and I now want to get rid of the graininess on the lower channels. Figured it might just be low signal level even though it isn't even close to being the longest run in the house, so I installed an in line amp. The picture practically disappeared on all channels. Tried a second amp and the same thing happens. It's like it's attenuating the signal instead of amplifing it, and yes I did have them installed the correct way and I did try reversing them in case they were labeled wrong. Prior to all of this I checked all the connections and so on in an effort to correct the situation, but no luck so the amp was sort of a last resort. Any ideas?
