Hey, all - I'm new. I'm living in Nashville with Comcast.

I have a Philips HDRW 720/17, which is a PVR with a hard drive and a CD burner.

I've been having a lot of trouble with the TV Guide channel lineup service on this device, and I suspect it has to do with the datastream from Comcast. Comcast is supposed to send a channel lineup datastream overnight over one of the channels, but for the past several weeks none of the channel lineups has been correct. Does anyone know what channel Comcast uses for this purpose?

Thanks,

Tracey

They send out a data stream on A- 8 (I think on that channel, someone correct me if I'm wrong), to their set top boxes. Your local PBS has been sending out a stream as well for guides built into the TV, but some of those are not always correct. Also a bad connection MAY cause a problem then again the device may have an issue itself.
