Bresnan Communications said the high-definition ABC and Fox channels will be offered by its cable service as soon as KFBB provides the signals to Bresnan. The high-def channels are expected to be channels 709 (ABC) and 722 (Fox) on Bresnan in Great Falls.
Viewers in Great Falls who use antennas have been without the Fox channel for a month after station KLMN quit operating amid its owner's bankruptcy.
Cable viewers have been able to continue to watch Fox programs after Bresnan paid KLMN's owner, Equity Media Holdings, to continue a Fox feed to Great Falls area customers.
Bresnan will switch to the KFBB Fox channel as soon as possible, a Bresnan spokesman said.
