Bresnan Communications, the nation’s 13th-largest cable operator, has deployed Clearleap’s Web-based platform across all of its systems.

Bresnan is using Clearleap’s platform to manage its VOD section, which is called The Spot. The Spot comprises localized channels featuring businesses in categories such as jobs, dining and events. The Clearleap platform will help Bresnan ingest, distribute, manage and monetize content of all types by using its clear|flow and clear|profit modules.

“Currently the platform is being used for The Spot category for VOD local content only,” said Pragash Pillai, Bresnan’s vice president of engineering and technology. “This is an enhancement to the existing platform we already have in place.”
