Outfits Catch 47 Regional Sports Net With HD Switchable Branding/Promo System

Chyron has installed its switchable channel branding and automated promo system at Bright House Networks' regional sports channel Catch 47.

The Channel Box high-definition/standard-definition system, installed at Catch 47’s facility in Tampa, is used to provide tickers, crawls, snipes and promo credits.

“We are delighted to announce this sale to Catch 47, said Chyron COO Kevin Prince in a statement. “Channel Box provides broadcast facilities with a complete branding package with the ability to upgrade to HD at any point. We look forward to making further sales announcements during the run up to NAB.”

Programs televised by Catch 47 include The Toyota Sports Connection, a nightly show featuring scores, highlights and interviews; Lightning Strikes, The Baysball Show, Beef 'O' Brady's High School Scoreboard, Press Box and Xtra Point.
The regional sports network’s lineup also includes local high school football, basketball, and baseball games, Tampa Bay Storm Arena Football contests, University of South Florida baseball, basketball, and softball games, as well as baseball action from the Florida State League.
