| Cox To Offer Virtual Service Contracts Will Use Registered E-Mail To Speed Order Processing By Linda Haugsted -- Multichannel News, 6/5/2008 10:14:00 AM By the end of June, Cox Business services will offer virtual contracts to clients, a move the company said will speed the processing of service orders currently done by fax or mailed paper contracts. Cox has selected the Registered E-mail solution provided by RPost, a provider of managed outbound electronic messaging. Clients will now get a registered e-mail that constitutes the legal proof the contract was delivered, including an audit trail recording the transaction, electronic signature and content of the contract, and an electronic time stamp recording when the deal closed.
