vcr /dvd - dvd recorder to tv

how do i hook up -vcr /dvd combo to dvd recorder to tv.

first of all -black "antanae "cable is run thru vcr/dvd combo to the tv.

I have -Red -white - Yellow cable -hook out from vcr/dvd combo
to the Dvd recorder ,

How do i get it -to show up on my tv ? i can see nothing.
I hear my dvd recording but i dont see it , why ?

I want my dvd recorder i got today to work with my vcr/dvd combo.

HOw can i get them all to work together-=so i can record from them all.

Remenber explain in simpliest terms I am not a brain child ok thanks.

Ps why is it i cant see if my posts are put up ?

I went to the web page and all i see is -

riverrat, sorry if you haven't found anything. Jonathan has done so much with hook ups over the years and have posted the main ones asked about repeatly. If you will take them time to go through the PDF diagrams Jonathan has set aside, it may help you get your set up going or at least point you in the right direction. We have decided not to do any more diagrams for now because some things are, well impossible. I'll be honest with you, I just work through a hook up or read the manual, if all else fails, I bang my head against the wall.
