| Insight Names New Director Carlyle Group Executive Bruce Rosenblum Joins Board Insight Communications said Thursday that it has named The Carlyle Group executive Bruce Rosenblum to its board of directors, replacing Michael Connelly who died in December. Rosenblum, 54, is managing director of The Carlyle Group. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2000, he was a partner and member of the executive committee at the law firm of Latham & Watkins L.P., specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Connelly, a managing director of The Carlyle Group, died on Dec. 9 after a battle with cancer. Insight went private in 2005 in a $710 million deal led by Carlyle and Insight CEO Michael Willner and chairman Sidney Knafel. Insight Names New Director - 12/27/2007 2:24:00 PM - Multichannel News
