Bragg Proceeds With Acquisition of Outstanding Units of Amtelcom

Bragg Communications Inc. and Amtelecom Income Fund announced today that more than 90% of the outstanding units of Amtelecom Income Fund
have been tendered to Bragg Communications' offer.

Provided the minimum condition is maintained, Bragg Communications intends to take-up and pay for all of the units tendered and to proceed with a subsequent transaction to acquire the remaining outstanding units at the $14.25 bid price on June 1, 2007.

Amtelecom also declared today its May 2007 cash distribution of $0.10 per Fund unit. The distribution will be paid on the earlier of the take up and =payment date by Bragg and June 15, 2007 to Unitholders of record as at the
close of business on May 31, 2007. Holders of units who are non-residents of Canada will be required to pay all withholding taxes payable in respect of any distributions of income by the Fund.
