    Hook-up

I have an RCA TV, satellite receiver and a combination VCR/DVD recorder(Pioneer DVR-RT502). How do I hook these up so I can record TV programs to the VCR or DVD.

    Welcome ksprott

You should be able to come out of your receiver (output to tv) and be able to go into the UHF/VHF input (RF input) and come out of the DVD/VCR into the TV. If your TV has rca jacks then you could hook up the jacks the same way you would the coax in and out and in and out again. Using the RCA jacks though may require leaving the DVD/VCR on and tuned to Line 1 or 2 or however the unit may recognize an addtional device hooked to it.
