I have a Toshiba DVD recorder which I am trying without success to connect with an Explorer 3250HD set top.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

What model Toshiba DVD do you own?

Have a Toshiba RD-XS34SC. I tried the same connections as would be used by a stereo VCR but that also did not work. Unfortunately here in Canada Toshiba customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for contacting me . I stillhave not been able to make the connection i would like between my Toshiba DVD recorder and my 3250 HD cable box.
Toshiba Canada shows no interest in assisting - I will never ever buy a Toshiba product again. In fact when i recently purchased a 42 Plasma , Toshiba was not considered.
I have donloaded Hook-up # 14 and I am going to try that altho I am bemused by the telephone connection.
I willlet you know how i make ouy.
