Question Charter Cable to Infocus/Receiver/DVd Player w/o TV

Hi there! New member, and I have a question I haven't seen on the forum in my searches nor on the connection matrix. I want to know if it is possible to hook up a basic cable signal from Charter Communications (coax cable) to my Infocus projector via my dvd player and/or receiver. I do not have a cable box, as it is not necessary for basic cable here and there is no TV.

Digital Projector: Infocus 530 with Enhanced Connectivity Module

    Receiver: VR-606

    DVD/VCR: Toshiba SD-V280

I can take digital photos of the connection sides of all three if that would help.

    Mille grazie!

    Ciao Felina:

Per the the 530 brochure with the ECM accepts S-VIDEO on the "Video 1" connection; RCA on "Video 2", and "component RCA on "Video 3". The V280 manual shows that you have component video on RCA connectors, so I'd look at hooking it us using that scheme from the DVD/VCR to the projector. You'll still need to run your audio to an amplifier and speakers, of course, but if you have an AM/FM stereo with RCA inputs, that should not be a big deal (see page 19 of the V280 manual for more).

    Best,

    Jonathan
