Red face Hookup nightmare

Johnathan,

I have a old tv with a rf modulator added. I need to hook up converter box, vcr, dvd. I also want to be able to watch one channel while recording another one.

I have an a/b switch and a splitter.

please help me

Hi Tam...

No problem!

Attached to this posting is a diagram that uses either 1 or 2 cable converters (two if you want to watch one cable channel while recording another.

Note that I've shown both video and RF connections between the DVDr and the VCR. If you have LINE outputs on your VCR and LINE inputs on your DVDr then go that route (3 cables), otherwise use a coax to connect the
ANT OUT (or TV OUT) to the ANT IN of the DVDr. Heck, you could use both, and select whichever one you think gives you a better picture, but I'll bet on the LINE.
